TOP 10 MOBILE WITH 4GB RAM :- ALL MOBILE FEATURES DETAILS

With 2GB and even 3GB RAM becoming a standard in mid- and high-end Android smartphones, we have seen a number of smartphones with 4GB RAM hitting the market recently. Not only these smartphones with 4GB RAM ensure consistently smooth performance, they are also future-ready, when Android apps that require more system memory will be developed. You’d be wrong to think there are only a few smartphones with this much of memory in the market, as 4GB RAM can be found across all price bands, from the affordable segment to the ultra-premium bracket. Here’s a look at the 10 Android smartphones with 4GB RAM already in the market...

1. OnePlus 2

The 64GB variant of OnePlus 2, available in India at Rs 24,999, comes with 4GB of RAM. The smartphone has other unique features for a mid-range smartphone as well, like a fingerprint sensor and USB Type C.

OnePlus 2 has a 5.5-inch IPS In-Cell display with Full HD (1080x1920p) resolution with Gorilla Glass 4 and runs on the company’s OxygenOS, based on Android 5.1 (Lollipop). The smartphone is powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor; it does not support microSD cards for storage expansion.

A 13MP camera with dual-LED flash is strapped to the back of OnePlus 2, whereas a 5MP camera is placed in front. The 4G smartphone comes with a 3,300mAh battery; OnePlus sells StyleSwap covers in bamboo, black apricot, rosewood and kevlar finish

2. Asus Zenfone 2

Available at starting price of Rs 17,999, the 16GB variant of Asus Zenfone 2 with Intel’s quad-core 1.8GHz Atom Z3560 processor comes with 4GB RAM. Its 32GB storage model, priced at Rs 18,999, also has 4GB RAM.

Asus also has the Zenfone 2 with 2.3GHz Intel Atom Z3580 quad-core processor with 32, 64 and 128GB storage options at Rs 19,999, Rs 22,999 and Rs 29,999, respectively. All the models have 4GB RAM as well.

Zenfone 2 has a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display with a wide 178-degree viewing angle with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop)-based ZenUI. Asus has used a 13MP camera with two-tone, dual-LED flash on the back, whereas a 5MP camera is used for taking selfies with Zenfone 2. The 4G smartphone comes in blac.k, gold, grey, red and white colours, packs a 3,000mAh battery, and supports microSD cards of up to 64GB capacity.

3, Samsung Galaxy Note5

Samsung’s Galaxy Note5 is a top-end phablet with 4GB RAM, available for Rs 53,900 for the 32GB variant and Rs 59,900 for the 64GB model.

Galaxy Note 5 has a 5.7-inch QHD (1440x2560p) Super AMOLED screen that supports the company's proprietary S Pen stylus. The phablet is powered by Samsung's 64-bit Exynos octa-core (2.1GHz quad-core + 1.5GHz quad-core) processor; the Android 5.1 (Lollipop) handset does not support microSD cards.

Samsung Galaxy Note5 sports a 16MP rear camera with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and a 5MP front-facing camera. The 4G smartphone packs a 3,000mAh battery that supports fast-charging on wireless as well as wired chargers.

4. Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe

Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe with the diamond-pattern back panel also has 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, priced at Rs 22,999.

The Zenfone 2 Deluxe model shares most of the key features with the Zenfone 2 handset powered by the quad-core Intel Atom Z3580 processor, such has the 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3, Android 5.0 (Lollipop)-based ZenUI, 13MP rear camera with two-tone, dual-LED flash, 5MP front camera, 3,000mAh battery and 4G support.

However, it supports 128GB microSD cards, while Zenfone 2 is compatible with microSD cards only of up to 64GB capacity.

5. Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+

Samsung’s big-screen smartphone with the curved Edge display on both sides, Galaxy S6 edge+ has 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage and costs Rs 57,900.

Galaxy S6 edge+ has a 5.7-inch Quad HD (2560 x 1440p) Super AMOLED display with a dual edge screen with extended curved displays on the edges; the curved display can display favourite apps and contacts from any app and homescreen, among other features. The Android 5.1 (Lollipop) phablet packs the Exynos octa core (2.1GHz quad + 1.5GHz quad) chip under the hood; it does not have a microSD card slot.

It sports a 16MP rear camera with optical image stabilization and a 5MP front-facing camera. The device is backed by a 3000mAh battery that supports fast charging with both wireless and wired chargers.

6. Xiaomi Mi Note Pro

Xiaomi’s top smartphone, the Mi Note Pro with 4GB RAM is yet to hit the Indian market, though it was launched in January this year in China.

Mi Note Pro has a 5.7-inch display with QHD (1440x2560p) resolution and 2.5D Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by Android 5.0 (Lollipop)-based MIUI 6 software and packs the octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor and comes with 64GB internal storage; there is no support for microSD cards.

On the back, Xiaomi Mi Note Pro sports a 13MP camera with OIS and two-tone, dual-LED flash, whereas a 4MP camera with 2-micron pixels is in front. The smartphone is 4G-enabled, supports dual sims and is powered by a 3,000mAh battery.

7. Lenovo K80

Lenovo K80, unveiled in April this year, has two unique features: 4GB of RAM and 4,000mAh battery. It is available in China for approximately $290, but has not been launched in the Indian market yet.

The K80 smartphone sports a 5.5-inch Full HD (1080p) IPS screen and runs on the Intel Atom Z3560 quad-core 1.83GHz processor. This Android 5.0 (Lollipop) smartphone comes with 64GB internal storage, but does not support microSD cards.

Lenovo K80 has a 13MP camera with dual-LED flash on the back, while the selfie snapper has 5MP resolution. The 4G-enabled smartphone comes in black, red and silver colours and has dual-sim functionality.

8. ZTE Nubia Z9 Elite

ZTE’s Nubia Z9 Elite with a 5.2-inch bezel-less display panel is a compact smartphone with 4GB of RAM. It was unveiled in China and the US in May this year, priced at $564 for the unlocked handset.

The Nubia Z9 Elite smartphone features Full HD (1080x1920p) screen resolution and Android 5.0 (Lollipop) operating system. The handset packs the octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor (four 1.5GHz cores + four 2GHz cores) and comes with 64GB of internal storage, with no support for microSD cards.

A 16MP camera with LED flash is placed in front of the smartphone, whereas an 8MP snapper is in front for taking selfies. ZTE Nubia Z9 Elite is powered by a 2,900mAh battery, supports 4G networks, and comes in black, white and rose colours.

ZTE has also launched a more expensive variant of the smartphone with fingerprint sensor, named Nubia Z9 Exclusive.

9. Vertu Signature Touch

A premium smartphone with 4GB RAM, Vertu Signature Touch is priced between a whopping 6,500 pounds and 13,700 pounds.

Vertu Signature Touch is encased in handcrafted, fine leather and grade 5 titanium, and features a cleaner and crisper look, with very little interference with its geometric design, the company says. It will be available in a range of four colours, across eight product executions – Jet Calf, Garnet Calf, Grape Lizard, Pure Jet Lizard, Jet Alligator, Pure Navy Alligator, Clous de Paris Alligator and Pure Jet Red Gold.

On the hardware side, Vertu Signature Touch sports a 5.2-inch Full-HD (1920x1080p) LCD display protected by a 5th Generation sapphire crystal screen. This Android 5.1 (Lollipop) smartphone is powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor and has 64GB of internal storage; Vertu provides a 64GB microSD card with the phone, though it supports storage expansion up to 2TB.

Vertu Signature Touch sports a 21MP rear camera with PDAF and dual-tone LED flash and a 2.1MP front-facing camera. The phone has high-fidelity 13x18mm loudspeakers with Dolby Digital Plus and a 3,160mAh battery.

10. ZTE Axon Pro

Another ZTE smartphone with 4GB RAM is Axon Pro, though it is slightly cheaper than its sibling at $449. Another unique feature of the smartphone is the dual-camera setup on the back.

ZTE has used a 5.5-inch QHD (1440x2560p) display with Gorilla Glass 3 in the Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop)-powered Axon Pro smartphone. The device is powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 810 (four 1.5GHz cores + four 2GHz cores) and comes with 32GB internal storage; there is no provision for storage expansion.

On the back of ZTE Axon Pro are two cameras: one with 13MP resolution and one with a 2MP sensor; the two-camera system is backed by dual-LED flash. For selfies, there is an 8MP camera in front. The 4G smartphone has a 3,000mAh battery and comes in blue, silver and gold colours.
